DDS (4mm) and D8 (8mm) data cartridges are the ideal solution to high- volume backup and archiving requirements. Featuring high capacity, these easy-to-handle compact cartridges provide cost-efficient backup and long-term archiving - in actual use situations Fujifilm data cartridges have maintained data safely for years.Fujifilm DDS cartridges have MRS to inform the DDS drive that this medium is certified for the DDS system. D8 cartridges also have MRS to ensure compatible performance with all drives with XL capability. Fujifilms advanced technology builds a long and reliable working life into every one of these data cartridges. The combination of a three- dimensional network structure and optimized lubricating system results in exceptional durability. Both DDS and D8 data cartridges feature SDR (Super Durability and Runnability) backcoating with a very low friction coefficient, assuring smooth transport even with the complex transport modes and mechanisms of these systems. Thanks to their outstanding static resistance, these data cartridges prevent dust accumulation, maintaining their exceptionally low error rate over an extended working life.
